Benefit Fact Sheet
Staff at Military and Family Readiness Centers provide assistance, direct services or information and referral regarding a number of requested services to retirees, Active Duty and Reserve Component service members, veterans, and family members.
State Active Duty is not creditable service toward an Air Force federal retirement as the service member is employed by the states and not the Federal Government. Examples of State Active Duty not covered are Governor Call-up for flood, hurricane or earthquake assistance.
